Estimates
All estimates are considered to be an approximation of
the likely costs and valid for 14 days. We reserve the right to increase prices if the cost of goods have increased since
estimate creation. If during the work it is considered that a substantial increase in costs is likely, we will not continue
without seeking further consent.
Bookings
All booking made are provisional and times given are approximate. We will however attempt to contact you if we are
liable to be over 1 hour outside the booking time.
Payment
All work must be paid for in full on completion, unless
agreed otherwise. Payment can be accepted by Cash, BACS or Cheque. We reserve the right to charge for incurred costs dealing
with any failed payments or collection of overdue accounts.
All goods remain the property of "Scantec GB" until paid in full.
Warranty
All goods supplied will be covered by
the manufacturers warranty for a minimum period of 12 months. All work carried out is covered by our 3000 mile or 6 Month
warranty. If on completion you are advised that your vehicle requires further work, no warranty shall be placed on our repairs
unless this work is carried out within 7 days.
Systems Testing
All systems tests carry a minimum charge as advised on booking. This testing is considered to be an initial inspection
and test, although 95% of faults can be either traced and or rectified within this test, there is no guarantee that further
testing at additional cost may not be required. If on inspection your vehicle is found to be below our minimum service standard
and it is considered that this standard may be causing faults or prevent a correct diagnosis, you will be advised on the vehicle
report and further systems test may be required on completion of recommended service work. Diagnostic testing will cease at
the point relevant fault/s has been found, but this in no way confirms that these are the only fault/s present
and further testing may be required (at additional cost) once recommended work has been carried out.
Intermittent Faults
Some intermittent faults can be very
difficult to trace, if your vehicle has not stored faults in its internal memory and or the faults are not present at the
time of testing. There for although we will test your vehicle to the highest possible standards we cannot guarantee a diagnosis
will be made if faults are not present at the time of testing.
Performance Tuning
It is recommended by us, that all vehicles undergo a initial system test / inspection
before a tune. We will however carry out a tune without this, but you will be asked to sign a disclaimer before hand to confirm
your waiving of the usual warranty. All quoted figures or potential power increases are approximate.
